How much pain relief can I expect from cortizone injections into a bulging disk?

3 comments so far

Does anyone have a bulging disk which caused a lot of pain? If so, did you get cortizone injections and if you did how much relief from pain did you get? What has been the best pain relief?

I once had a cortisone shot in my wrist. It was very painful. I have since discovered a drug free non-invasive way to reduce inflammation - I use this product for my back and my knees. Its called actipatch. Works like a charm, easy to use and a good value since it lasts so long.

ActiPatch is available online to Licensed Medical Practitioners, or when covered by a prescription from one, at http://www.azream.us

That highly depends on two things…

    1. How much steroids you are being given

    2. How well the steroids reduce the inflamation around the disc.
