Does your city do night spraying for gypsy moths, mosquitoes or any other insect? Both those would be my first thoughts before allergies to the current pets. Cities usually list their spraying times in the newspaper but most people don't see it. I can ALWAYS tell when ours does it between 3am and 5am, I wake up coughting and my eyes are burning from it - the stuff gets inside the house through windows, chimney, and any other air flow area. Is the cat allowed on the furniture where your daughter plays? If so, the dander from your cat may be what's making your little girl have those symptoms. Benadryl is a great thing to have when you or your child has an allergic reaction. Hope the doctor can discern for certain what's really going on. Yu can put her on claritan or zyrtec . Sometimes you can out grow them again.
