What is the best bed to sleep on for comfort and support?
3 comments so farI bought one that is too firm and it is like sleeping on the floor. I haven't slept good in a couple weeks. I want a bed that is like a dream to sleep on. I want to love it. There are so many to choose from and most are so similar. What have other people found?
The best would be a medium mattress, not too soft and not too firm. It's OK to try a mattress before buying. Lumpy mattresses are no good. And straw mattresses are the worse kind. You'll also want to consider the type of bed frame you're using and whether or not you buy a box spring.

A lot of places will tell you that it might take a month to get used to sleeping on a new mattress, so maybe that's the case for you. But if you purchased it recently, see if you can return it for another style.
You should try out the beds at the store before you buy one. You might feel a bit silly doing it, but it's really the only way to make sure you're getting the right kind of bed. Personally, I went with a Simmons pillow-top.
